They have been literally targeting and openly slaughtering journalists in Gaza. Which is where they test techniques. It’s normalised now. Why would anyone expect a press jacket to protect you when the press has been silent on what has been happening to their colleagues in Gaza?
If anyone is having trouble following my (increasingly long) thread tracking incidents where police assaulted journalists at protests in Los Angeles this weekend, it's also in spreadsheet form here. This is the more organized version I've been sending to lawyers, agency chiefs, electeds, etc.

The govt’s claim that a new super tax is needed for budget repair rings hollow while they refuse to fix the broken PRRT or phase out billions in fossil fuel subsidies.

Australians saving for retirement should not be penalised while big gas multinationals continue to avoid paying their fair share.

Our new report is one of those where I was... wait... you sure??? Maybe re-check those numbers... wait WTUF?? That can't be real... alas. It is.
9 out of 10 companies exporting gas from QLD have not paid a cent in company tax over the last 10 years.

$125 bn in LNG has been sold out of QLD by companies that reported $330 bn in revenue to the ATO.

Meanwhile, domestic gas prices have shot up, pushed up by excessive gas exports. #auspol
Gas companies in Queensland still not paying tax - The Australia Institute
New analysis by The Australia Institute reveals that ten years after gas exports from Queensland began, most of the companies involved have never paid a cent in company tax.

And thank goodness you saved this video, because there are reports on Twitter that the ABC has removed this interview from its website. I did check and also could not find it. An outraged Kim Williams must have spoken to Hugh Marks. #auspol #ABCFAIL

Dont think Bandt was hateful. He just didnt have good economic advisors for his policies. Agree that many Green voters crossed over to Labor to ensure Liberals would not get in. Dutton is very hateful. There was too much at stake. Dutton had to fail at any cost.

Wanting a big house or a car is not a value. Wearing really clean jeans and riding boots with matching chambray shirt is not a value.
Privileged social clubs are not a value. How you treat your fellow citizens and what you leave to future generations are values.

It is important to note that had Dutton been elected PM on Saturday (if Trumpism hadn’t scared Australians by showing them the consequences of Dutton), it would have been because Dutton lied by saying cost of living pressures were Labor’s fault, and that Labor was doing nothing about these pressures

Couldn’t agree more with this take
Paul left out the bit where cheerleaders in places like The Oz's opinion pages green lighted all these things that he is highly critical of

Again for the cheap seats, conservatism is an idiotic and antiquated ideology in a world of constant and rapid change.

You can’t complain about the so called Teals and side line Bridget Archer at the same time if you are being honest with yourself.

Instead of obsessing about Climate 200's crowdfunding to support candidates committed to saving our planet, maybe the media could focus more on Atlas Network's funding of individuals and organisations to promote climate denialism and undermine democracy to benefit the (very) privileged few?
A vote for the Liberal Party of Australia is a vote for the #AtlasNetwork and the destructive and noxious actions, values and beliefs held by individuals, politicians, governments, organisations aligned with it.
