I've been studying the history of US, and indeed, global policing my whole career and I can't make it more clear to law makers that this isn't a bastardization of policing, it is its purest form and logical conclusion. The impunity, militarization, deference, legitimacy, racial targeting, etc.

A 5-year old boy was used as “bait” to draw family members out of their home. Agents took Liam Conejo Ramos and his dad and sent them to Texas. Why detain a 5-year-old? Liam’s family has an “active asylum case” with no deportation orders.
This story is very upsetting and not going away.

Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.
