Finally got a chance to get back out to the board game cafe last night for early birthday outing. First time playing “Improper Nouns” and I really loved the randomness 😁. This or something like it might be going on my Christmas list this year. A couple that just had me dying were these:

One of my favorite parts of any ice skating is watching the Zamboni guy whip it around the ice. In peak dad mode, I sit there wondering what kind of tires they run on those 🤔

My poor Muffin has had ear infections all her life, and took a turn for the worse after New Year’s. It’s down in her inner ear, and even with surgery it’s low success rate. We’ve had to make the difficult decision to let her go, and it’s tearing me up inside.

My wife was substitute teaching today and had to pick a movie to bring in for the third graders’ free time. She picked Home Alone. I asked how it went over with the kids, and she said they were quoting the whole thing. There is hope for today’s youth!
