The most basic argument I can give you for ditching Spotify for *anything* is Spotify, uniquely, pays *nothing* for much of the music on the platform. Is there *any* improvement in paying for Spotify over pirating? You're a paper-thin moral slice away from buying music from a bootlegger. Why do it?

it really does sound dramatic and hysterical to say that gAI is a technology that nurtures and promotes physical, emotional and spiritual death but that's literally what it does and watching people casually use it is a bit like witnessing cannibalism and wondering why everyone is fine with it
