Not had a #ManicMonday for a while so today's offering is Gold Against the Soul. A much maligned album imo, it has some absolute bangers on it. Sleepflower, Nostalgic Pushead, La Tristesse, and From Despair to Where. Happy Monday folks

It's Monday again but the sun is shining. Today's #ManicMonday is The Ultra Vivid Lament from 2021. At first go it seems James has been listening to too much ABBA but the album is growing on me. I love Still Snowing in Sapporo, and there's something of the end of a horror movie about Orwellian

Today's #manicmonday is Send Away the Tigers. I love this album, its got some great tracks; Your Love Alone, Underdogs, Autumn Song, Send Away the Tigers and Indian Summer are all bangers. Happy Monday all!

For today's #ManicMonday the wheel of choice selected 2001's Know Your Enemy. I think this album gets a bit of a rough rep because it wasn't the "call back" to early manics some folks were hoping for. Found that Soul is a banger though. Happy Monday folks 🙂

Little bit of millennial joy for me today - a cassette player with proper buttons (that also converts tapes to MP3). But what the heck is up with the reversed play, fast forward and rewind buttons?? This was made by someone born after 2000 surely...

If I hadn't already, I have definitely borked my algorithm with #RRHOF entry 161. Accidentally listened to the acapella version of the Black Album and it took me 7 tracks to work out it wasn't actually an experimental slam poetry album 🙄

Entry 168 in the #RRHOF is only slightly less questionable than Andrea Bocelli at 194. I love POTO. As a musical it's 10/10. And the 1987 version is a good album. Rock album? A drum machine and a banging bass line do not a rock album make.

Also Micheal Crawford is no Ramin Karimloo...
