I know it’s a common theme that some people like to address, so sure you can use it as a plot point etc. but it shouldn’t be so vital to the setting that it not being a huge issue sets off alarm bells! Like, if you want racism, real life exists. Maybe in a fiction we can do better.

Not to say you can’t explore the theme of course, but saying a fantasy or sci-fi setting is “unrealistic” (lol) because no-one is racist is the biggest tell on yourself. Sorry you can’t handle that some people aren’t racist my clansman.

Suspect many of these people are teenagers with raging hormones and a diet of energy drinks and masturbation. No wonder they smell like shit, but the call is coming from inside the house my dudes.

I live in a supremely mild climate, eat a good diet, am not massively overweight and work a non-physical job. I can easily go a day without smelling bad enough to need a shower! People saying otherwise are missing at least one or two of the above points.

You may have already noticed but there’s a load of NPCs with (I think) gold nameplates that are just big lore dumps lol, and yeah it’s a bit jarring. The setting and lore are top notch, but it’s all just thrown at you like that. PoE2 is (imo) the better game but I love them both. Very unique lore.

Like I get I’m the minority, but you couldn’t design a game with as many instant turn offs for me haha. Forced PvP, open world, modern day (essentially) over the shoulder shooter. All they need to do is add zombies and it’d be Me Repellant of the highest order.

Sorry but “open world PvP with no NPCs, story, quests, etc” game just makes it about the cheapest-to-make “AAA” drivel out there. Vampire Survivor clones have more originality and ideas, at a fraction of the cost, without having to resort to AI to plug the gaps that would seemingly somehow exist.
