I made my students sign a pledge not to use AI on penalty of automatically failing my class. They also had to write about why that might be the course policy. And I told them if they need concessions, to ask, and I would gladly help them. Still, multiple students used AI. Depressing.

Side-note: there’s currently a large festival by Russian consulate in Hong Kong, which will never be touched by the protesters

On this day, we were introduced to 'Central OL', who was photographed on the front line in very nice workwear and shoes, wearing a not-cheap leather handbag. Absolute queen. You can understand why she inspired protest art!
