Another great thing is that in the other shots we can see The Spot reflected in Miles's eyes.

Sooo good.

I just can't get over how good the animation of The Spot in Spider-Men: Across the Spider-Verse is. It's just so well drawn. Particularly love the glitches.

Instead of redrawing the points each frame you can draw them with reduced opacity, which provides insight into the distribution of the randomness.

I particularly enjoy the effect surrounding the lantern light, worth zooming in to see the noisy details

Biggest benefit of this change: Now the text input and your general user control section are misaligned, which makes the application look really off.

They are looking to "maintain consistency across desktop and mobile devices", so of course the mobile UI still uses the old - and better - placement of that indicator.

notice the padding below the text box that does nothing?
it is now there because they - for some inexplicable reason - moved the *xxx is typing* below the text input.

Why? No idea.

Why is the padding and line height this high?
Why does the text area input of your text messaging app take up only half the space of your text box while the rest is cluttered with buttons?

Finished 'House of Leaves' last night, was a really good read that makes me want to unpack it even more.
