That's a brilliant hire for the Giants. Wash's credentials speak for themselves, plus he'll be able to help Vitello get settled in. Glad that he seems to be healthy!

The injury concerns are legitimate, but the Braves would have two Acuñas and can use the DH to keep those two fresh and healthy, plus three years of control at $15m is laughably cheap for someone like Buxton.
As long the Braves were able to hold onto Baldwin, I'd give up whatever it took to get Buxton in here.
I wouldn't want the Braves to trade Schwellenbach or Waldrep for Buxton either, but I'd be willing to include one of them, as long as AA had a legitimate replacement coming in another deal.

Any other crazies going to watch the Kill Bill single cut re-release? I never saw either movie in theaters when they first came out, so I thought it'd be a cool experience, especially with the sound design.

Granted, the Sabres obviously need to score than one goal, but UPL is either really good or fringe NHL backup goalie material, nothing in-between.
