LIKES: MUSIC (I play flutes, 7-string nylon guitar, and sing dreadfully); also LANGUAGES (En, Fr, Cat, Es) and the Great Outdoors - as long as it's not raining.
DISLIKES: Mud
And back at Camp Nou. Or 'Nou Camp Nou' as they're calling it 🙂

Just watched the last 10 minutes - and saw Real Madrid drop 2 points! Result !🙂

Olive growing throughout the South of France was widely abandoned after the terrible frost of Feb 1956. Odd that it should make a comeback 🤔

Google "Gboard" on Android handles this pretty well. You declare the languages you want to use and can switch between them, manually or automatically.

I realise the US does not recognise the ICC, but an investigation could still lead to travel bans and capturing of evidence for future prosecutions. There's no statute of limitations on murder, is there?

When we were there, the crêpes Suzette were being served at a special station - with a massive queue that we couldn't be bothered to join.
But 4 hours for lunch ?! Sans blague?

Ooh ! Any good? Pukka tucker? Oddly enough, I've had a couple of promo emails from them recently - surprising for an enterprise booked out a year ahead. The latest is for some kind of equestrian event (in which I gather you don't get to eat the horses🤔)

I was thinking exactly the same - even before this match. He has great leg speed and strength in the air, but poor decision making and awful distribution. A very 'uneven' player, that arguably doesn't fit the Barça style.

The E-scooter is a clever, eco-friendly development that has caught many governments asleep, unsure how to treat them. Spain seems on the ball here! Helmets, number plates, affordable insurance and no use on pavements! I also like the speed penalty (max 14 kph) on heavy models (> 25kg). Sensible!

I can understand Labour's panic, but this isn't a good look for Rachel Reeves. She's the first Chancellor for some years who can claim serious economic competence. Very odd to squander that on playground squabbles.

Didn't see your posts - but I share the frustration. It's always hard to play teams who are this physical, especially with a referee who lets everything go. Araujo stupidly getting himself sent off ended the match for me. A Barça 10, lacking key players, were never likely to beat this Chelsea 11.

An alternative could a Shishi-Odoshi, as reportedly seen in Japanese gardens. This device is triggered when the weight of the water exceeds a threshold and doesn't depend on fine tubes & surface tension. But it's hard to imagine a small/contained version of one of these. Oh well. 2/2.🤔

He plays like his telepathic. So maybe, just maybe, he can reach out to his teammates from the bench ... 🤔

When Musk first shaped up to buy X, he expressed alarm at the number of bots and tried backing out of the deal. He then fired the moderators, making things worse! So he has vacillated, but now seems to value what he has got. What's less clear to me is how the BBC justify staying there? 🤔

Ooh, didn't know that one! I like the way it has a Gascon equivalent as well ("harai", with their famous aspirated H). Presumably, this is via the Val d'Aran.

Extraordinary isn't it ? Sepp Blatter gets impeached and leaves in disgrace - so of course, the organisation resolves ensure nothing like this ever happens again ... 🤔
