Hello everyone, I thought I would share this high-quality picture of a toad from my journey in the cemeteries as of late. I tried to get a couple of the nope ropes (snakes) but they all slithered away. Silly danger noodles.

As a military historian that focuses on the technology of, and the years leading up to WWI through the present day, there are few places that are as holy as the one I visited today.

As a groundskeeper, I'm happy I work for a small town where nothing unbelievably stupid happens. I feel like there's components of the death industry that are awful, and I hope my humble occupation isn't one of them. After all, we just finished fixing a mound that dates back to the early 1800s

I am sorry I don't post much (but reply infrequently) but I wanted to share that today I helped put this old gravestone back to rights in one of the cemeteries I work at today. Granted it's supposed to be taller but now we remember Dr. Luther Bugbee, who rests underneath a tree :)

You know, working in cemeteries ain't that bad. The rmtenants are pretty quiet and nobody bothers you but sometimes the family makes a decision almost 200 years ago that really doesn't make your life any easier. That's a days work fixing that there.

The winds of ADHD are blowing and the weather vane is pointing to flying the Saab AJS-37 Viggen in DCS, something I haven't done in a while! Time to study the Ck37 cheat sheet again..

This dude (First Sea Lord John Arbuthnot Fisher, 1st Baron Fisher, GCB, OM, GCVO, or Jacky Boy for short) climbs up on me, sheds fur all over my clothes, then passes out like I'm made of bed or something.
He's cute tho so I guess I'll let him get away with it

If 47 is such a successful businessman it perplexes me why he continues to think tariffs are apparently his only economical option to put pressure on countries that he doesn't like.

If 47 is such a successful businessman it perplexes me why he continues to think tariffs are apparently his only economical option to put pressure on countries that he doesn't like.

I think the lore of the Monolith in #S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is an interesting allegory that reminds us that obsession is rarely healthy and can make someone easy to manipulate without them knowing. They are certainly the big bads of the series for good reason but the more you learn, it's easy to empathize

#S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2 (I'm trying w/ the hashes) has been out for 4 days now, there's plenty of bugs to be addressed and fixes and optimizations to be made...but as someone who has played every official game and just about every modpack ever designed for it, it's a masterpiece.

Is it wrong that if I could live in any Ghibli movie it would be Porco Rosso? I guess that tracks for me at least.
