yeah - statistical pattern recognition is the common part between AI and ML, so for me ML these days is pattern recognition without using a neural net, relying on some other algorithm.

Bluesky isn’t decentralized, the developers here just cosplay in that direction without achieving it so they can sidestep the actually important issues around values, moderation and community.
