if you think about it pokemon seems to be the shining beacon of "i want shorter games with worse graphics made by people paid more to work less" but in a fascinating twist of fate that ends up being more of a monkeys paw kind of thing with this franchise.

last bit of commentary on ZA until I finish it or whatnot but as someone who both really likes Pokemon but also doesn't find it to be above criticism, it's quite disheartening to see how this release has seemingly short circuited so many people's brains when talking about it lmao.
