Today I found a new one to me, Golden scaleycap. There are several closely related species which are difficult to distinguish in the field and are often classified as Pholiota aurivella. Really was beautiful in the sunshine. #fungifriends #mushrooms

It’s a Helvella, likely Helvella lacunosa. It’s known commonly as elfin saddle. Here’s one I found today.
