Today I found a new one to me, Golden scaleycap. There are several closely related species which are difficult to distinguish in the field and are often classified as Pholiota aurivella. Really was beautiful in the sunshine. #fungifriends #mushrooms

Ahahaha Google AI is gonna get people fuckin KILLED dude!! For those unfamiliar with mycology, the species at the bottom, Galerina marginata, is not only not a Pholiota species, but is in fact DEADLY FUCKING TOXIC. They contain the same deadly amatoxins as death caps and destroying angels!!
