I talked to a cop today, but it was worth it. Arrived at mounted police paddock just when they were leading the horses to their stalls in the barn. I got snuggles from one dude, a dappled guy 18.3 hands high. Another was over 19 hands + 2,300 lbs. Hooves the size of dinner plates and all love.

I've been "re-reading" Anathem by Neal Stephenson and just finished it. I think I must never have finished it before since I didn't remember a lot of the plot after a certain point. I guess I have to re-read it again?
