GotTTO, now Never Let Them Back In.
Proportional Representation covers that.
Wood and Metal, makes stuff.
Photos, good, bad, and ugly.
I'd give Farscape maybe 7/10. The main storyline is great but too many sidetrack filler episodes get in the way. A good budget and production with mostly good acting helps. It is 25 years old now though. It was impressive then but I only saw bits and bobs of it at the time due to work.

Aft'noon. I hope you succeed in your day. Sorry to read about your diagnosis.
Absolutely nothing going on here, more's the pity. Enthusiasm has left the building. I have binge watched Farscape.

Aft'noon. Fingers crossed for you.
Apologies for the AWOL.

Well, there's another bit of good news. Perhaps the heating can go on now with a little less worry.
November 26, 2025 at 3:40 PM
Afternoon all. I was eventually driven out of bed by a pair of screeching angry parakeets over empty feeders. That was a while ago now but still disappointingly late.
I guess the slow wheels of bureaucracy need to turn a bit before you find out the results of yesterdays tribunal. Good luck.

Three great tits and a blue tit during a sparrow lull on the feeders on Sunday. I can hear the blue tit chattering away in the lilac now. It needs a mate.

Morning. It's 6℃ here too, thankfully on the plus side. A brief respite from the freeze.
Still struggling with that body clock, 0830 is no good.
Good to read that Marmite appears well again. Happy proofreading.

We've got quite a few of these multi-occupancy places on the high street now that nearly all of the 'proper' shops have left. No idea what goes on in any of them really.
November 21, 2025 at 4:47 PM
Plenty of places purporting to be cobblers but if they haven't even got a basic stitching machine then, no, you're really not. Anyway, a tiny booth in a raggedy converted multi-occupancy shop had an ancient lever cranked lump of cast iron that did the job. Yay! to the middle east immigrant.
November 21, 2025 at 4:25 PM
It's quite a huge flock. They seem to have pushed out all the variety I used to get on the feeders though. Haven't seen a goldfinch here for a couple of years now, whereas they were once the most common. Blue tits and dunnocks finally disappeared this year too. I forgot, I get parakeets too.
November 21, 2025 at 3:41 PM
It's sparrows, sparrows all the way down until the singular great tit. And pidgeons.
November 21, 2025 at 1:23 PM
Yay! Marmite. Yay! you too.
Pharmacy done, then traipsing about trying to find a cobbler who can put a dozen simple stiches in a boot backstay. Bloody sole stickers and key cutters the lot of 'em, including Timpsons. Except, the last magnificent fellow for a fiver.
Nice in the sun.
November 21, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Best wishes to both of you. Don't get confused about who goes where.
November 20, 2025 at 7:52 AM
Glad Marmite is appears a bit better and hope the vet tomorrow has good news.
Finally succumbed and put the heating on for real yesterday evening too. All seems to be working fine this time which is a huge relief. Smart meter is scary though. House is too big and too old, sigh.

You have elected sociopath Thatcher Mk.II.

Perhaps it'd be better if it stays in the stomach rather than moving on, I gather that's simpler. Might even be reachable with a probe down the oesophagus. Anyway, I wish her as comfortable as can be.
November 14, 2025 at 10:13 AM
No sign of a tremendous poo from Marmite yet? Even if laxed and lubed up again I guess it might still take a while.
Just started to rain a bit more persistently here. Time to tackle those three file boxes of paperwork.
November 14, 2025 at 9:44 AM
Best wishes to Marmite.
Got plans. Just got to get off my backside at some point and execute them.
November 11, 2025 at 12:01 PM
The trials of the builder. Unless you specified something unusual I'd of thought all the trimmings would be readily available. It's pretty generic stuff for a roofing job. Roofing superstores are a thing. Hope this resolves quickly.
Enjoy tonight.

I was hoping for a magical item, or maybe a small chest of gold. Alas.
November 7, 2025 at 5:32 PM
Morning! just. May have to deploy the alarm clock and feel like crap for a few days. Didn't help that I was up 'till silly o'clock tending a bonfire on Wednesday night. The old fence has been disposed of.
Yeah! Friday, huh!

That's a bit passé for High Schools, isn't it? Front row i-phone dad is expecting braids, fishnets, shortest shorts and a bit of twerking to completely inappropriate Drill, or explicitly worse, these days.
Hmmm? maybe that's Junior High.

It turns out that occasional lie-ins are habit formimg.

It shall be the most splendid gutter, if without the waterfall in the driveway.
November 4, 2025 at 9:21 AM
Give some away, eat the rest. I steamed some last night.
Glad the singing went well.
