GotTTO, now Never Let Them Back In. Proportional Representation covers that. Wood and Metal, makes stuff. Photos, good, bad, and ugly.

I couldn't even work out how to get the cover off. So much for thinking myself handy. Probably for the best, idiot tamper proof.
Engineer booked for Wednesday.
YT has a vid suggesting a diy fix on my model so I'll give that a go. Beyond that then, yes, it's call the pro's in. Can't do with no heating at all.
Mostly this one has been ok, some replacement parts a few years ago. YT suggests a cause and an easy fix, air pressure in the expansion vessel needs pumping up. I wonder if grants are still available if I need a new one.
Wishes for a glorious day tommorow, don't pick the pure white one.
Yay! to tardy communicators and money in the bank.
Yep, max'd out in the red. Lucky I looked. Scary.
Morning! Clear, probably will be bright when the sun gets over the rooftops, is a bit bloody nippy.
Late cancel?
Boiler pressure went into the red yesterday evening when I tried the heating for the first time this year. I don't need that.
Not done it in donkeys but unless you're going to get deeply into it just learn a half dozen or so you're going to easily and surely recognise even on a casual dog walk. Field and Puffball, Oyster, Razorstrop, Chanterelle (mmm! bugs), Parasol and Porcini are a good selection. Enjoy your course.
Good news on the breakfast front. Were the old meds acting as an appetite suppresent as a side effect?
Fencing finally looking spic and span, finished with some posh chip granite at the base.
Hmmm? chucking down with rain or people have run out of money to burn. Less fireworks last night, sleep.
Oh! Judy, you is naughty using a blocked word. Best wishes for your trip to Scotland and to the happy couple.
If one is after fungi this should be the perfect time of year.
Whereas I'm in the midst one of the largest concentrations of Indians outside India. At the moment it's difficult to hear myself think, let alone read or watch anything. One continuous rolling barrage of Festival of Loud Bangs from distant to right overhead. Grump! Ha!
It cleared well into the afternoon. Too late and everythings saturated and no enthusiasm by then.
Evil things being well and truly chased away tonight. Wow! the fireworks.
Glad you got those zzz's, I sent a pidgeon.
Off and on, mostly on, chucking it down all morning so concreting is on hold again. That's a bit of a bummer 'cos I just want it over with.
Haven't really thought of anything really productive to do instead yet.
And a good nights sleep was had by all (hopefully).
Mosey is excited/traumatised (delete not applicable) at the thought of costumes.
About one mixer load, but I don't have a mixer so it'll be a bit at a time. Off and on raining so play has been postponed.
Even with the pre-Diwali Diwali fireworks going off all over the place. I was really quite knackered.
The edge of a concrete slab now needs to be made good, it got Kango'd™, and the gap between it and the gravel boards needs filling. Fencing related. Raining, off n' on, so not happening today.
Morning! Slept like a log, here. Sorry about that.
I should be doing a bit of concreting today. It looks like, and is forecast, rain in a bit so that might not happen. We'll see.
Wishing you a relaxing day.
Still, needs to be done, I think.
Tesco too? Bulls Bridge is a darn sight more convenient than Boots Uxbridge, and it actually has available slots.
Hi! Chris, thanks for that bit of info.
The day has been spent clearing and tidying up after the fencers. They did kind of just bugger off on Friday afternoon. Anyway, I have a new fence, rather than a patchwork of repairs and rotting oddments, and a pile of wood for a Samhain bonfire.
Knackered and had enough now. Cuppa, shower, food.
Now that the little pharmacy at the top of the road is doing the jabs for the first time, I can't get one. Boots has the private monopoly, for whatever reason, and only at the biggest branches. £98, sigh.
It seems they moved the the goalposts for the jab back in June when no one was thinking about it to notice. I can't fathom the logic behind being ill enough for one, but not the other, other than it being a numbers game.
Hope you manage to get your work done. Morning!
Fencey people in doing new fencey things while complaining about the things I did warn them about when they agreed to do the fencey things I wanted done.
Got the flu jab but not allowed the covid jab this year even though it should help protect me for the same reasons they give me the flu jab. huh?
