Disinformation is the biggest challenge we face. Don't trust politicians who want to weaken our information infrastructure.
Does Bluesky allow us to report accounts for being weird?
Also, maybe they should also institute that functionality to see where an account is posting from.

I'm seeing daily follows by "guys"??? like this, with the "sexy" headshot and requests to communicate privately with women. I block them when I see them, but was curious if anyone has actually communicated with one of them and what happens when you do?

Adding 8 more departments to the list of those who only have to seek 2% in cuts. I was worried about the research institutes so this is good news on that front.

Winter rates for Hydro Ottawa are now in place, so be aware of time of use if you're on the time of use plan. To me, the rates seem a lot higher than last winter, but I don't have that data.

I shook hands with Donna Strickland shortly after she was honoured with the Nobel Prize in Physics. Although the encounter was minor, she is not. She's amazing.
