Approaching retirement is liberating. The last few months have been interesting to say the least. A year ago I’d have just walked, but today I can speak the truth without fear of reprisals.

I watched the first half of the Nigeria. Morocco game and gave up at HT. such a stop start game with way too many silly fouls. I’ve just looked at the result. There were 51 fouls in total. That’s over an hour of football lost in the game!

Should we get nine points out of the next four games against Doncaster, Rotherham, Port Vale, and Bolton, we should be alright. On paper this looks doable, but with this team you just never know.

I’m pretty sure the idea of the honours system is to be awarded for the work you do, not just ask for an award!

Missed the last goal because I turned away in horror when Hackford tried miserably to lob the keeper. Anyone care to fill me in. It looked like their keeper juggled the ball and presumably Hippolyte did the rest.
