For those looking for practical Christmas gifts, this thread has great ideas on assembling a car emergency kit.
Even if the budget stretches to just 1 or 2 items, a crate/box (dollar store) to contain them, maybe one item, plus the list is good.

In the giddiness of the Epstein email release, please do not lose sight of the provision inserted into the CR that allows potentially millions of dollars to flow to the 8 Senators whose phone records were subpoenaed by DOJ Jan 6 - and prevents future Senate scrutiny.

I’d be calling my Senators and asking them to explain their YES vote on a Continuing Resolution that includes $500,000 per incident payment to Senators whose phone records were lawfully subpoenaed by the DOJ investigating Jan 6.
