So why was there so much police violence at the Sydney protest compared to everywhere else around the country?

The answer is simple: Chris Minns. #nswpol #auspol

"Social cohesion is a scam, a strategy employed by the powerful to delegitimise and suppress the voices of the less powerful... If you are othered by powerful groups, you become the victim of cohesion, not the beneficiary; what you get from social cohesion is a punch from an armed official."
Nothing says cohesion like a punch in the head: Violence of Minns' goons exposes the lie of 'social cohesion'
NSW Police's actions against protesters in in Sydney was about the powerful dictating the terms of free speech — through state-sanctioned violence if necessary.

one of the few outlets to publish an accurate account of NSW police brutality. Most media seem very confused by the fact that police blocked the exits and then police attacked people with pepper spray, fists, and steel cap boots.

A content warning for very, very significant police violence on this video: Israeli President Herzog is visiting Australia, and police in New South Wales are violently bashing prone protesters.

The media is framing it in completely neutral terms.

Watch the video, then look at the headlines.

The most deranged wave of Islamophobia is about to hit Australia (it didn’t really let up post 9/11 tbh) and it will be perpetrated by the same people who never shut the fuck up about social cohesion.
The sheer nerve of Scott-I-don’t-hold-a-hose-Morrison demanding accountability from anyone is breathtaking.

🤷🏿‍♂️Um... It already is a daily occurrence?

There were only 6 days in 2025 that US cops *didn't* shoot a person to death.

These shootings mostly happen at traffic stops.

Again, some things that happen to Black people every single day, only become seen as horrific when they happen to non-Black people
After Columbine I thought we would move heaven and earth to prevent mass shootings.

We did nothing and now they are almost a daily occurrence.

Today we watched an ICE thug brutally murder an American citizen in cold blood. A young mother.

If we do nothing this too will become a daily occurrence.
