Super Mario Bros. 3 contains a bizarre "vengeful Thwomp" glitch. Normally, if a Thwomp is hit by a hammer, it just dies. However, if a diagonal Thwomp is hit in the topmost position, it will perform a jump after dying just to get one last revenge attack in.

Nintendo can be so weird and like, non-committal about "woke" in their games so i am still really surprised they were so played straight with Vivian in the switch remake. this wasn't even just a NOA thing the japanese version is much kinder towards her and removes a lot of the insulting flavor text

Animal Crossing New Horizons has sold ~50 million units and still sells hundreds of thousands of units every quarter.

Ideally, Nintendo wants people buying and playing it on Switch 2 now.
