I did something similar with one I built last year. Silver marker on the inside of the canopy, black lining marker (brush type) for the grey parts.

Very Curious about your take on MPG-17. I really like what I've seen so considering how much the articulation seems to be the focus I really want to hear how he feels in-hand.

There's a couple of small differences, but that *really* looks like Iron Trans Star Blade. Like "Maybe we have the molds, but tweaked the paint" close.

Yeah they've got mark maher doing damage control now. Not going to pay $43 for a Voyager and $70 for a DNA kit for this to look decent with $200 worth of combiner parts.

Honestly thinking of getting a version of this tattooed on my back. Easily the best Prime design. Even the sort-of-janky 3p version is great.

Couple of $10 finds at my local shop. As a noted deluxe shitter-onner, I'll admit that Devcon is quite good, with an intuitive transformation and a solid paint job. I liked the original Legacy Lio more than I
should, and the nemesis deco is sharp, but I should probably get the MP cheap while I can.

Supposedly this was the result of editorial wanting to get as far away from the Phoenix as possible with the 1991 relaunch. Jim Lee's original concept was *much* better, especially in green.

$42 is an absurd price for a deluxe but Brawl is solid and chunky in a way that feels good in hand, has a relatively clever transformation, and has a decent amount of personality in both modes. Unfortunately, I now have 2 combaticons (Vortex was a Superion fill-in) and have to complete the team.
