Absolutely buzzing for sunderland fans to beat their major rivals today.

Never stopped supporting the club even when in league one. Owmers learned from their mistakes and now are flying.

Always remembered how passionate the fans were as a young kid watching football. Never left me.

One of the few things keeping me alive is having my support workers twice a week for two hours i get listened to and i need to let them help me more but im still learning to do that.

As a person of colour ppl really see me and think female and brown means we can have a go.

Its getting ridiculous the racism i can think back to a kid how awful it was and now we got more kids through no fault of their own getting racially abused.

And adults so openly in public.

The questionnaire will close on Monday 1st December at 5pm. I've had an incredible response so far ❤️🙏 Thank you so much. Roughly 50 people have questionnaires still open, and others may still want to share their experiences. I will post several more reminders over the next 10 days. Thank you.

If your organization claims to support all autistic people, anti-racism must be a core value, require annual anti-racism and cultural humility training for staff, volunteers, and leadership etc

Been super unwell. Went to my chest luckily had support workers who noticed and ended up telling my doctor when i was getting stocked up on my mental health medication. Start antibiotics for five days. Hopefully clears it up. Until then im hibernating.

I just came across this article and i know the fear that comes with turning 18 and leaving care.
Kids leaving care deserve so much more than fending for themselves.

“Nonita will not be the only young person that lives an invisible life and dies an invisible death”

That quote hit me hard.
Sky News exposes the systemic failings that led to 18 yr old Nonita Grabovskyte’s death whilst in the care of the London Borough of Barnet.

INQUEST, @article39.bsky.social & @gcnchambers.bsky.social call for urgent action to protect children leaving care.

People are in denial about how quickly they could become disabled, unhoused or food insecure

It can happen to anyone & it can happen in an instant

Folks act like those receiving assistance have failed

That they should “try harder”

The system is rigged. It’s failed us, not the other way around

Where are the changes all you get is a sorry if u are lucky.

Why have the staff not been sacked and charged.

Rant over.

Madness how much one person can convince themselves that someone cares when the signs are screaming they do not.
Suppose thats life we all gotta figure out for ourselves if we are worth or deserve more.

Request #8538 to @bsky.app:

I would love to use Bluesky regularly, but I can’t.

Why? No locked/private accounts.

This isn’t a nice-to-have feature. It’s a safety essential that excludes many in Mad and Disabled communities who face real risks posting publicly.

Please sort this Out.

💯
Never forget this: The forces rigging our economy, undermining our democracy, polluting our planet, and stoking hatred are counting on you to give up. Cynicism is how they win. Stay clear-eyed and ready for the fight ahead.

Why would you trust Reform when they are all just ex-Tories running away from their record of failure & who left our country in a mess.

Had to buy a new toaster as i decided it would be a good idea to soften butter on a knife while i was making toast
Until the butter dropped inside the toaster fml

I blame being ill for that stupid idea.

I did it.
I finally cracked the 20 minute mark on the treadmill. It’s a big deal for me as someone living with a disability that has taken a lot of my mobility from me but I DID IT.
Now I’m ruined for the rest of the day but I’m happy 🥰

It’s a "crisis" when immigrants "take jobs away", but "innovation" when machines do. Funny.

Changed into a tight top as felt the one i was wearing was not helping hoping it keeps the patches in places. Only have to keep them on until friday

Had to also stick two plasters on one of the skin patches as it was not sticking and peeling off

Just two days of this. I can do it
