Sat down to give FM26 a go at about 11am. It's 6:30pm and I've done nothing since. Uninstalled. I can't do this again.

Especially given how buggy it is. Here's my Swedish 2nd Division team for some reason winning a trophy after the first game of the season. In silence, because audio just...stops.

Decided to see how bad it could be.

Boots with no audio. Every selectable haircut seems to be a skin fade. Not that it matters, because I couldn't see my manager's head when choosing his hair anyway since the camera was zoomed all the way in on his ballsack the entire time.

I can’t even.

All copies are the same grade and price, but lucky me, I got the one with writing on the disc, an ink-stamped manual, and the wrong case.

In the same envelope as a copy of Black on PS2 with no manual.

CEX Roulette continues. Still more to come (including the BR player that was apparently shipped Saturday.)

Beat Down: No manual, scratched. £90 of SC5 Part 2: Scratched. Gitaroo Man: Scratched.

BRs look like somebody has been dragging their sweaty nutsack across them.

Hard to photograph, but DAMN, CEX. Every single game disc is in this condition.

I can get them cleaned up, but not everyone has a few grand’s worth of disc repair equipment in their house. YOU DO IN YOUR STORES, THOUGH. Lazy, cheap bastards.

HOVERBOARDS WERE FAKE NEWS EVERYBODY

Turns out there was a second CEX delivery. Two PS2 games are missing manuals. Two have discs that I would consider borderline unsaveable due to the scratch depth.

PotC boxed set looks to have been kicked up and down the stairs.

I’ll admit this may have been a poor idea.

I can't even.

CEX Roulette continues. PS2 discs all need resurfacing. Couple of the BRs could do with it too. Beetle Racing box is clinging on for dear life.

Good job I’ve got a disc resurfacer. Weird I need to use it given that all their stores do, too.

CEX Roulette continues. The most expensive game I went for. It wasn’t described as ‘mint’ and it did have a protective case. Not amazing, but it’ll play.

The CEX haul begins. Seventeen packages still en route.

Nice 4TB upgrade for the Ally, an awesome steelbook of one of the top three movies of all time, and the world’s most sun faded copy of OutRun 2019.

66% hit rate.

It's a Dreamcast. A bog-standard PAL Dreamcast that was £150 because the box somehow doubles the price.

Saved you 27 minutes.

So I got the EA Play Pro thing on PC and started a new FC account just to see.

Game still a bit mid but is a 1000% better than on PS5. Self-imposed rules are: F2P, can only play using JPN/KOR players, Can only buy with coins if I can instantly evo the player.

SHUTA MACHINO up front on name alone.

Mmmmm. Sweet, plasticky, uncomfortable, underdeveloped corruption.

All going (not to CEX) and all sort of alphabetised. *brain purr*

Putting an AV mod into the NES toploader.

Doing a real tidy job. Only burnt myself once. Everything going well. Just need to solder the wires to the mod board.

Well, of course the board has been delivered with a capacitor and pads ripped clean off. Why would any mod I do just go right first time?
October 26, 2025 at 2:16 PM
I’ve tried everything, doctor. It just won’t go back down.
October 23, 2025 at 4:11 PM
Need more vibes, but getting there.

The ROG is fucking sick, btw, if you can live with the rough OS edges they entirely haven’t rounded off yet.

I'm not clicking on it, but if it's like every other video from UK "game collectors" that gets recommended to me, I'd be willing to bet that he's bought something for £1.50 that "should have been" £3 because it was a "day one" edition or something.

You never see these people playing games.
October 18, 2025 at 2:42 PM
I'd usually blame it on my invisible dog but when it makes the headlines, you have to own up, really.

Sorry.
October 17, 2025 at 10:29 AM
I don’t judge. I just buy and sell.

But imagine if there was a British culture for making these. It wouldn’t be so…sly. We’d just have titles like ‘Cor, Look At Those!’, ‘Tittybiscuits 3’ and ‘BEWBS GAME LOL.’

They're trying to pull me back in.
