Yeah theres tons of good apps out there. I go off ground/ magnetometers and what bz and bt show as those are best indicators. Night before last i went out the second bz showed that strong south pull. Image was before kp even started to go up.

Data shows we reached a G4 geomag storm last night, but I was too wiped out and kept falling asleep. Looks like I missed the higher values and the best chance to see it! #aurora #solar #heliophysics #geomagneticstorm

Heres a shot last night right over head! What an incredible storm. Pulsating bright aurora i kept seeing flashs of light and i was like whoa. Strong storm!

Still storming but if bz remains north i probably wont see another round as this far south but you never know. #aurora #spaceweather #heliophysics

Very strong storm. I could see the red pillars even in town! Its not done yet. I swear it made my ears ring and i thought i could hear it!? Radiation storm ongoing as well. #heliophysics #aurora #geomagnetic #storm #solar

Right now in North Central Indiana so I’m pretty far south to see this usually only stronger storms can I see

What a storm! Strongly tilted/sheared updrafts in eyewall! The hunter said the eyewall was riddled with mesocyclones. With how dry the eye is can really get a ton of definition! #melissa #hurricane

Poor Jamaica! Pray cause this could end up being bad. All people in low lying and coastal areas need to evacuate inland!
