What needs to be normalised is everybody responding to his rants and insults with "quiet, piggy!" Every single time, online or in person.

Absolutely, spending most of the day in those tiny consultation rooms with lots of random strangers! Back in the early days a couple of vets saw our masks and asked if we'd like them to mask up, but that attitude is long gone now.

Oh, so they're copying the current US regime, in other words?

That seems like entrapment, grabbing people from immigration check-ins and green card interviews.

The only reason I recently replaced my old phone is because my brother gave me a later version of the same phone which he didn't need, as his work had bought him a new one for his 10-year milestone.

LOL I took my elderly Mum to a hospital orthopaedic appointment a while back. When the specialist walked in he looked at Mum and I in our masks, backed right up against the far wall, and asked "have you guys got covid?"
I just said "no, and we'd like to keep it that way."

And they never cutting the obvious and expensive deadwood in the executive suites, it's always the hardworking peons who keep everything going who get shafted time and time again.
It's so predictable - restructure, outsource, spend more and get less/poor quality, rehire and bring it back in-house.

Another huge problem is that the massive companies pushing "A.i." cannot be trusted on a moral and ethical level. They are run by billionaires who can manipulate the products to push disinfo or outright bigotry. Put their "A.i." in everything, and everything can become their megaphone for garbage.

I'd be super-leery about providing ID to any social media company.
But if it keeps minors off WhatsApp I can't see this coalition of clowns going for it.

Hubs had pertussis twice in less than 5 years. The first time was when we learned that adults need boosters every 10 years or so (and more adults than kids get catch it because that's not common knowledge). The second time was when we learned that hubs' immune system is a bit rubbish at times. 😷
