Pfp is one of Duane Bryers' Hilda Pin-Ups. Hilda, a plus size red head, dressed in a bikini made of flowers, is laying in a hammock hanging over a river. She is reading a book, with one leg thrown over the side.
Banner is a waving progress pride flag.

Until the majority of people can finally accept that all people have worth, and any discrimination for something a person can't change is wrong, and that we need to take care of people who can't care for themselves, fascism is going to keep winning

Little bits add up and can prevent us from losing these things again this month. I have to keep going as bills are always coming and it takes a week to two to get help sometimes. Please boost! Donate if you’re able (and want to of course) anything is appreciated so we can keep these on!
I hate asking so quick but if I don’t I’ll risk things being shut off

Electric is due the 6th - $219

Water is due the 8th - $362

Also any extra for Xmas as I can’t work so I can’t get Xmas presents for my kids (not a necessity)

One of my fundamental beliefs is that I should not have to talk to people who have been cruel to me. You might be surprised to learn how often -- and vociferously -- people disagree with me about that.

It’s sort of infuriating to watch liberals all of the sudden be able to identify war crimes because Trump is doing them

The highest calling of journalism isn’t to tell two sides of a story.

The highest calling of journalism is to tell the truth.

And acting like a stenographer is a betrayal of your audience.
Unfortunately, in US journalism it is considered neutral to spread a lie, but it is considered "biased" to call out a lie. So, there is a structural asymmetry that rewards colorful lies with virality.

My friend Tasneem and her family in Gaza have lost everything; their home, their livelihood, their security. This is the case for thousands of Gazans. I support Tasneem, there are many more in need.

Please give to Tasneem so she can feed her children and raise funds to escape. And to others. ❤️🙏
Help Alma and her family

"Don't follow illegal orders" would be more meaningful if Democrats had prosecuted literally any of the prominent war criminals of the last 30 years instead of, you know, fucking campaigning with them

Hi, I am speaking to you from wretched #Gaza. I am a lost soul, a survivor of genocide. I am still striving to provide a decent life for my family and to save them. And I am striving to make my voice heard around the world.🤎

I've prepared my story for you read it and support us.👇🏽

Just like UBI & Medicare for All would be much better uses of taxpayer dollars.
Anderson Cooper: So it's more expensive to have a chronically homeless person living on the streets than it is to actually subsidize an apartment for them?

Answer: Yes, we’re paying more as taxpayers to walk past that person on the street and do nothing… #HousingFirst

And yes, vaccines help…lessen the severity if and when you do catch them. They aren’t sterilizing.

That doesn’t mean they’re unimportant. It just means they should not be your only layer of protection—and certainly not your family’s.

Mask up in the germ tubes and the places they stop.
We always see a surge of infectious disease, including COVID, RSV, etc etc around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Unless you want to gift your fam with a few weeks sick this year, mask up as you travel!
