Ever since "quiet quitting" these 'news' sites have been obsessed with finding new names for familiar work situations lol.
This is literally just constructive dismissal, which in most sane places is illegal. The "business risks" are a hefty lawsuit & fines.

It took less than 3 months from being taken over by an ex-Activision-Blizzard CFO for Discord to start implementing manipulative mechanics from pay-to-win games.

To be fair, I don't think they fully know how this works either, it's a solution to a simultaneous equation around changing joystick magnitude while preserving the angle in a nontrivial way, which from the comments they got from WolframAlpha

Forgot to share this singlestar I did a while ago, one big crazy slide!
The game has 12 special slide levels scattered around, split into two groups ('silence' & 'death wind'), then at the end of the game there's a final challenge, of each stage in the group combined into one!

In hindsight, running 16 instances of Mupen64 at full-speed at the same time was probably not a good idea (my PC crashed) (I am very silly)

So I was out doing errands and my brain randomly decided to cook up a new movement for this. When I got home I tested it and... another tie. This time 14 units from saving with TAS execution 🙃
Ah well, I did an RTA run & managed to pull it off, so here's the third way of getting 3"83 in this star!

I also went back & got the original 3"83 strat so I could compare the two! I'm not sure which method is easier to do, it probably varies from person to person and how hard you find the old strat's speedkick.
Both are harder than they look but not the hardest thing I've ever done in this game!
