So, local cops conducted a warrantless search of Luigi's backpack, realized they screwed up, admitted it on camera, put the backpack in a patrol car NOT sealed in an evidence bag (an 11 minute drive with no bodycam footage available), then searched the backpack again at the station and "found" a gun

That’s fair. Having now read Sunrise on the Reaping, I feel a bit more motivated to read Snow’s story but it’s still up in the air for me.

It was really good. It makes me want to reread the hunger games to give more context to some of Haymitch’s decisions mentoring Katniss and some of the feelings of participants during the Quarter Quell. Ultimately I feel like it gives the message that revolutions take some time.

Fang Fiction was mostly lighthearted - it’s written very much like a fanfiction, so it’s got some romance and common tropes in there.
