Hi Bluesky! I'm Sungju, a geographer investigating how communities and places at risk respond to climate challenges. My work explores how vulnerable communities adapt, with attention to nature-based solutions. I use both qualitative and quantitative methods to turn complex data into insights.
First #ICEP2025 participation! I met so many fascinating researchers sharing common interests. What a wonderful experience to be here :)
This was us after finishing our symposium at #ICEP2025 in Vilnius this morning. All presentations dealt with Natural Hazards, mostly with a focus on digital communication tools. Thanks to Leonie, Annalena, Sungju and Karina for your contribution and everyone for the interesting discussion(s)!

Huge congratulations to @ufz.de and colleagues who have spent enormous time and effort to achieve such a wonderful outcome 👏 I came here as a guest doctoral student in 2018, I’ve been feeling every moment a lot of changes (positive😌) and always impressed with the scientific standard here at UFZ.
