+ the ship combat is very barebones, you just trade hits with no way to avoid damage (without safespotting). You can't even circle a monster to outpace it & stay out of melee range. They're adding cannonballs that bind & burn later on but rn the ship combat is bootycheeks

Friend & I were fucking around w the ship combat earlier bc she also plays pures & we wanted to see how high the crewmates can hit w the cannons. & I was figuring out how safespotting works bc healing the ship on uim kinda fucking suckz
