Gunner since 1996, living in Louisville - rational but passionate
Remarkably, most of the goals Arsenal have conceded this season have simply been executed flawlessly (Szoboszlai's free kick, Richarlison's one touch from +35 meters, Karl's counter, etc)

Even a 2 minute recap of the goals shows Arsenal scored from a set piece (Timber), an open field action (Madueke), and a counter attack (Martinelli). Some would go so far to call that, gasp, optimal offensive diversity.

The idea we just showed up out of the blue today being good and somehow are just getting lucky is a naive and trite take. This is the result of the entire club being insanely disciplined for over five years. 19-2-1 across the PL and CL isn't an accident or a stroke of luck.

I'd love for each person voting for this to walk in the lives of these women for a day...heck, a few hours...before casting their votes

This aged well with Martinelli's run and goal...and a lot of people need to hit that delete button on their replies

Bit surprised to see Las go, he'll have a slew of offers from multiple teams across multiple leagues
November 26, 2025 at 5:27 PM
Pretty sure he was a key member of Indiana's 1987 title team

As if that wasn't enough, pro-business people that don't care much about ecology...it's also terrible for the equine and bourbon industries

That pass to Trossard on the first goal

Our signings have a penchant for scoring against their former clubs. Next weekend, are we looking at Madueke scoring a stonker like Rice v West Ham or an acrobatic feat like Eze v Palace? #arsecastextra

I'm glad I watch half the games in a Gunners pub and don't have to listen to the commentary
November 23, 2025 at 7:29 PM
Most definitely. The good thing is everything in the news outside of sports is going great...er...yeah, forget that, nothing else anxiety inducing at the moment

This is why taking a football break over international breaks - when the UK media only boosts negatives - is a healthy alternative

Appreciate this bit of history - makes complete sense
November 20, 2025 at 2:27 PM
Pardon my ignorance - these are from 1965. Is there some designation as that being the start of the "derby"? I've always read 1913 when Arsenal moved to North London.

Definitely Arteta's fault bsky.app/profile/anth...
Steph Curry is out tonight in Miami after tweaking his ankle twice on this road trip. Jimmy Butler is questionable with a lower back strain. Draymond Green and Buddy Hield are questionable with an illness. Jonathan Kuminga remains out. Al Horford is out.

Look at every NBA team. Every. One.

It's a fairly weak call if made (I guess letter of the law it's a foul?) I'm going to go with Harden shooting 7-25 and having a terrible assist to turnover ratio as the reason for the loss.
November 18, 2025 at 2:11 PM
I'd lay a healthy wager otherwise
November 17, 2025 at 1:22 PM
I can't read lips perfectly, but I imagine Draymond is saying "Our team bus leaves from Exit X, we can pick up this conversation over there after the game" and then that was the end of it

Still waiting for a single policy where this administration listens to experts
November 16, 2025 at 2:24 PM
It's almost as if very wealthy people are pressuring the media to keep their friends (and themselves) out of the spotlight as much as possible
November 14, 2025 at 8:07 PM
They still back Jim Jordan...so...
November 13, 2025 at 1:21 AM
That's not even close. Did someone at the Times ask Grok for a headline???

Totally normal for your offensive options to be a 15, 17, and 18 year old.

Scary part is any of the three could actually impact this match.
