The past aside, do people never consider that we are not immune from war, from attacks. There is no reason AT ALL why this could not happen to us and that we would need to flee this country. But, there is a weirdly superior, privileged view that this is, and will always be, a one way system. Nope.

Another 'Landlords leaving the market' story. First, has this not consistently been proven to be completely false? Second, if true, why would this be bad? Third, if Landlords are 'leaving the market' in droves because new rules mean their tenants have a more secure lease, well, ok then. Off you pop.

He said Enoch Burke’s use of expressions like “wipe that smirk off your face” to a judge of the High Court was “not normal behaviour” and showed that Burke “has an unbridled tongue and clearly has difficulty in regulating his anger”. “This level of verbal aggression, unregulated anger and lack of self-control, combined with his deliberate strategy of confrontation, make him a potential danger to pupils and teachers of the school,” the judge said.

Kinda off topic, but this randomly came on Spotify about the election last year. Two things stuck out about the commentary. One, talking about someone called 'Catherine Connolly'(?) who had an uphill battle as she is hard left. The other was about Gráinne Seoige, who they described as a 'shoo in ' 🤣

Reminder that when 16 yr old Jett Travolta died, Trump wrote a public message to his grieving parents, John and Kelly.

And made it about how he is normally very good at picking up women.
"A long time ago, before I was married, I met Kelly Preston at a club and worked like hell to try and pick her up," he wrote. "She was beautiful, personable, and definitely had allure. At the time I had no idea she was married to John Travolta."
