This slightly blurry photo was taken when I was walking alone through the countryside in Scotland, through a place called Easter Galcantary. That too, much like how I view this spirit animal, is both an interesting and totally ridiculous name for a place.

The other famed post is a long form analysis of John Mayall’s 1972 live album, Jazz Blues Fusion that I wrote in 2019. A horde of boomers in the US went absolutely mad for it, a couple of them enthusiastically e-mailed me and one of them ended up discussing the blog post on their radio show.
