Oof. This is like when people in comics suggest the same 3 books to new readers no matter what. Don't do that. Ask them what they're into and then make suggestions based on that. There's way too much great contemporary work to fall back on "classics" that may not be a good fit.

Thinking of a concept or idea in simple terms with easy conclusions is usually a sign you don’t understand something very well. To be fair it’s an odd thing to catch yourself on but once you do it’s your moral duty to either stop committing on that idea or learn more.

Enjoyed super man only a lil more then fantastic 4 but both of them feel incredibly incomplete there pacing screams that 30mins or so of scenes were cut seemingly lass minute as they feel polished but unfinished especially f4 I could tell exactly were something was cut superman less so

In order for a joke to have maximum effect I feel it needs to either be done so lazily (could be deceptively) or maximum effect like beyond what was needed as that directly plays with expeditions the direct causation of humour

Superman is such a weird flick for me as it by all means should have perfectly clicked with me but I can’t see it as anything but an above average movie a 6 out of 10 though I don’t like rating movies with numbers as it’s doesn’t feel subjective enough
