They don't seem at all workable and the lack of details makes them seem like a spitball more than actual thing that might happen. But, imo, if they do, it's about laying the groundwork for a health premium again.

85% of Canad's grid is based on renewables.
Of all the provinces, it is AB & SK that have more sun & wind that could be harnessed given they dont have the same hydroelectric capacity as BC, MB, ON, QC & NL and yet they are against wind/solar development. It is not federal, its provincial.
