how about no subsidies at all. A business can stand on its own or not that's capitalism baby. profits and benefits leave and we are left with all the risks. If your emerging industry can't hold it's own then is sinks.

They don't seem at all workable and the lack of details makes them seem like a spitball more than actual thing that might happen. But, imo, if they do, it's about laying the groundwork for a health premium again.

85% of Canad's grid is based on renewables.
Of all the provinces, it is AB & SK that have more sun & wind that could be harnessed given they dont have the same hydroelectric capacity as BC, MB, ON, QC & NL and yet they are against wind/solar development. It is not federal, its provincial.

Canadians need to write ✍️ to @mark-carney.bsky.social immediately and tell him he has to tell Danielle Smith she will lose her Health Transfers if she attempts to legislate on abortion and you have to do this now. #cdnpoli
The UCP gov't is playing into Trump-style politics, and making it even harder for people to access essential services.

Healthcare is personal -- not political!

People needing an abortion later in pregnancy deserve care and compassion. Not punishment and medical debt.

Just watched Carney's conversation with the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and now I'm watching his response to reporter questions.

To reporters, he's saying if there's no private proponent there won't be a pipeline and that this MOU is about way more than a pipeline.

So…..what was the pt of this exercise? To mute the separatist movement?
To give one of the worst & destructive premiers in Canada, leverage?

We are indebted to both.

PM @markcarneyforpm.bsky.social should take note of both our Environment Ministers’ integrity.
