The mental gymnastics are starting to frustrate me. Ex. We say that you can’t blame the kids for being colorist when they bully bc they don’t know about the factors that cause colorism. But we turn around & say another CHILD must have been anti-black bc they don’t ACT like they like Black people

I have been considering trying to draw an owl, I’m just shit at drawing animals

I get frustrated with others for lacking understanding but more so frustrated with myself because I feel like I’m letting my community down because I can’t contribute as hard as I want to. I’m not looking for a cookie I’m looking for hope to break away from these big business completely one day.

Preparing before Blackouts is a privilege people need to remember that. Also need to remember that it will take time for people to have the affordability to shop local or small business in terms of necessity not frivolous purchases.

Some people are understanding of this but many are not. I was told I was what was wrong with society once and in terms of Blackouts why couldn’t I prepare before hand.

It’s also accessibility when it comes to shopping local as many of our local stuff is in the city, I struggle to drive around the corner due to disability and it’s getting worse. I can’t drive as far as I use to and typically never leave the suburb I’m in unless driven or on a good day.

I am aware of why the prices of small businesses price differently compared to corps and I am not mad at THEM just mad my lack at my lack of income to support them fully the way I would like.
