I’ve just read two contradictory things/
1. A discharge petition has been filed, taking the decision to put it on the House floor.
2. The Senate blocked it, although one petition was filed by Republicans.
What the hell is really going on?

The proposed policy of checking tourists’ phones for five years of social media seems impracticable. Operationally, it would be a nightmare. Every person coming in will be checked so thoroughly? Really?

When will this regime end? Surely not with his death. There are a bunch of unsavory characters vying for dominance after he departs. If elections have huge participation,fixing them will be a little less easy. The regime would be held in abeyance for a while. But the poison will exist for decades.

SCOTUS will surely give Trump the OK to fire people at will. They hate accountability and democracy. They are a major enemy.

Trump’s approval is 30-something percent. His disapproval rating is over 60 percent. Why is this always presented in terms of the approval rating rather than the disapproval? The Americans who disapprove number about twice those who do. The media clearly favor the old prick.
