About 48 hours of working time per parasol, I think? 🤔 Because I can work whenever and always work on several parasols at once the hours are uncertain, but always 9 calendar days total.

Cotton only dries so fast ⏰ so I lose between 2-3 days to the four different blocks I do.

Yes. Here’s the label and what I have left. Based on my previous parasols, I’ll likely need to borrow the last round from another cake, so slightly more than 1km. 👍

Thank you so much! 💜

Each parasol I make takes 9 days between crocheting and blocking. This one is on day 7. 👍

Thank you so much. If you’d like I’ll send you this charted pattern and if I ever find the creator I’ll buy it twice from them.

And I’m always around to answer any crochet questions you may have. 👍

Echo May, co-owner of Northwest Yarns, said that pop culture often stereotypes textile and fiber arts as “something of an old-lady art,” but she’s noticing that narrative shift. Younger knitters view slow, tactile projects as an alternative to endless scrolling and overconsumption.
