Britain is caught in a bind that will face any country that makes the mistake of leaving the EU. Leaving makes you poorer, and being poorer means being weaker. It’s a terrible waste and I hope nobody else tries it. www.ft.com/content/551e...

Reform is a party that says things that appeal to racists, fields racist candidates, fawns over racist world leaders, made a convicted racist guest of honour at their conference, and whose leader refuses to outright deny having racially abused people.

If only there were a word for such a party.

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.

They signify the hope and defiance society should now strive towards as her disciples rise once more, albeit in robes of a different colour."

This is not about efficiency, it is naked retribution. I can only imagine the MSM's response if Biden had done this to only a single lawyer.
NEW: Sources tell me that US Attorney for DC Ed Martin just demoted multiple senior attorneys who oversaw the January 6th prosecutions.

The lawyers were told they would now handle low-level crime cases usually given to junior AUSAs.

Martin sent the demotion email himself, per a msg I saw. 1/

There’s going to be a lot of hat-eating tonight. Critics will find a way to do the PM down, of course. Say he gave too much or too little. Was too fawning or not enough. They'd have done it better. Nothing will come of it.

But in their black shrivelled heart they'll know Starmer played a blinder.
