I was thinking the same thing. Why isn’t anyone tugging at this string? If the Senate was truly interested in “oversight”, then this guy is one of the first people I would call as a witness.

It was an interesting theory and made sense, at the time. Later on, more information came out the his own budget director knew it wasn’t going to work. What’s sad is that so many people still do. I was 18 at the time. I learned to ask questions now.
