I put this out in August. I'm just amazed a professional coach never realised what's coming. We've two ball to feet wingers. You need pace, elite 1v1 ability, and unpredictability in this league. Particularly on the flanks. When was the last great sweeping Liverpool counter attack. At pace?

I don't disagree. That is not becoming of Liverpool at Anfield. We're the dogs. Our mentality should be to hunt the opposition down from minute 1. Klopp knew cathedrals like Dortmund and Anfield turned into a frenzy with that style. Became an unimaginable bear pit for the opposition. A tsunami.

Yeah. We've made massive errors not upgrading the flanks, but i suppose you can't cure all our ills in one window. So many issues. Build up, DM, and progressing play. That was survival football last night. Isak/Wirtz covering huge spaces. The rest of the team in a mid-low block.

It's absolutely remarkable, Dan. I watched Robertson for Scotland 10 days ago. Got consistently beaten on the outside and inside. Legs are gone. This Kerkez narrative is off the scale. Exhibit A

I'm worried. It looks wing and a prayer. No plan. We're suffering at DM, right back, and centre back. I do feel we need a LW with pace and dynamism. It's looking like a two summer rebuild. Slot needs to get some robustness into his midfield, too.

It always amazes me the lack of respect, warmth, and decency people display towards a title winning coach. It's been abysmal in recent weeks, but some of the shouts are incredible. It really is the age of rage. I'm no managerial sycophant. I'll call it objectively. This isn't Hodgson or Rodgers

We've got Brentford, Villa and City before the international break. If we can somehow get 7/9 points, I think we'll come very strong. Nothing is won on paper, but i fancy us to plough through these fixtures in good fashion.

Few bookmarks I'll be returning too. Read bucket loads of a similar nature. Absolutely wild. A lot of people like to project their own misery onto their football team, too. Rational thinking goes out the window.
