Old school from Jaquez. Back down, hit first and back out. That's the setup. Fake left, spin and finish. Real hoops.

Jaime Jaquez is *cooking*

The post work from Jaime Jaquez Jr has been fun to watch this season. Helps him sustain when teams are working to keep the drives in front. Runs in transition and seals if he sees a matchup, will back down if cut off.

Norman Powell, first quarter threes (came in shooting 52.5% from 3 in the 1st this season)
November 23, 2025 at 6:20 PM
Good set from Miami to start the game, get Norman Powell in movement. Simple action, backscreen for Bam right into a pindown from Ware.

I am enjoying the passing from Jalen Duren this season.

Cade Cunningham playing well enough to get extra attention + making the right reads opens a lot up for Detroit. Duncan Robinson screens for him, Bucks switch. Cade backdowns and Kuzma comes to double, right to Robinson for 3.

Like the defensive effort from Anthony Black on this possession. Pressure, worked to not get screened, active.

Russell Westbrook wanted this one.

Nice seal and finish from Nikola Vucevic.

Good set from the Clippers to start the second quarter. Get Chris Paul to the post and now it's a diagonal screen for Brook Lopez to get to his hook.

The James Harden midrange game.

I've liked the work to get Anthony Edwards off ball and in movement more. Suns counter with switching and really nice denials. Gets you deeper in the clock. Thing is you're denying for a reason, Edwards footwork gets him open, good drive and finish.
November 22, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Look at the flow and ball movement from the Phoenix Suns. Strength is getting to their next action. Stack P&R, Wolves defend it. Booker with a near elbow catch, O'Neale from the corner into P&R. Right side is empty and now you're in rotation.
November 22, 2025 at 5:11 PM
Wolves have to work vs. gameplan defense. Suns went with full court pressure, wing denials and switching to try and bog them down. Offensive improvement has been there but against these teams, decisions are slower, later in shot clock. Good drive from Randle, has to be a catch.
November 22, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Good defense from the Suns. DDV in P&R with Gobert, Randle and Edwards spaced on the weakside. The negative is that puts Brooks/Dunn in those help spots. Brooks in early on the roll, Dunn splits two and gets the steal.
November 22, 2025 at 4:34 PM
Keeping an eye on how Minnesota deals with teams switching. Suns switch everything to start the possession. End up in a spot against defenses where you have one player able to roll and he has to finish.

Denver goes with a double drag with Brown/Jokic as screeners. Gets Sheppard to switch, Jokic flips his angle to screen for Murray. THJ slides up from the corner. Holiday is in early, Thompson gambles on the Jokic pop (not knowing he has help), layup for Brown.
November 22, 2025 at 4:05 PM
The automatic nature of the Nikola Jokic/Jamal Murray two man game. Jokic catches, dribbles, sees Thompson help. Murray immediately slides to the wing, Jokic gets it right to him.
November 22, 2025 at 2:58 PM
Jokic drawing this foul on Adams and then side eyeing him the whole time had me laughing.
November 22, 2025 at 2:37 PM
Denver went with this set several times in the third quarter. Jokic at the block, pindown for him in the paint, right wing is clear. Got a FT line jumper, a dunk and a 3 out of it.
November 22, 2025 at 2:27 PM
Little thing but the Rockets should prep for it with Reed Sheppard. Jamal Murray brings it up, Watson screens for him to get Sheppard to switch. NOW Jokic comes to screen for Murray to make Sheppard navigate. Murray has space, engages Sengun, gets it right to Jokic.
