Oh I 100% agree! I just get miffed by the people who think "This is great writing so the author must be great," as if success is always deserved and talent is an indicator of someone's goodness.

People get SO weird about my name! I've been told Stephi sounds childish, and one time when I corrected someone who'd misspelled my last name as Chan (which happens frequently), they said "Are you sure?"
