When Trump acts like this, for me, and I hope for many others - it increases my tolerance for delays in sorting out a deal with the US, it increases my acceptance of pain while we work to find new trade partners.
Trump is pissed about an ad that Canada recently ran in the U.S. showing Ronald Reagan talking about tariffs in 1987.
“Based on their egregious behavior, ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE HEREBY TERMINATED.”

It has come to my attention that many people are not aware that my book about Justin Trudeau's prime ministership is now available in convenient paperback format, with a gripping new afterword that covers his final months in office. Christmas is coming!

I now understand why Liberal MPs rose after MP Thomas' speech last week. And I agree with @stephenmaher.bsky.social. I believe he's saying that we need to identify and address mental health issues.
This is a very thought-ful essay, all Cdns should read it.

Old Soviet joke for today:
A man walks into a newsstand every day, looks around, and leaves.
After a long time of this, the owner says “Can I help you find something?”
“I’m looking for the obituaries.”
“The obituaries are in the back of the newspaper, comrade.”
“Not the one I’m looking for.”

Trump doesn't seem to see that some people are still immune to his threats.
Jack White criticized Trump's Oval Office decor. The White House then called White a "washed-up, has-been loser... masquerading as a real artist." And White, undeterred, posted an absolutely blistering takedown in response.
