This morning’s walk. Before the rains. Or after *some* rains but before the big Orange 21-hour rain/weather warning that starts in a few hours anyway. Dublin has a massive drainage problem doesn’t it? Water pooling everywhere.
Pre sunrise Dublin, between Grangegorman & Smithfield. Opposite the bougie cafe if you know where that is. Black tarmac road surfaces and to the right a chunk of pale pink building, and then red street lights and reflections, a glossy new building in the background and then front & centre a great big puddle on a bend, where many a pedestrian will get splashed as cars come round the corner.

Walking along Kirwan St Stoneybatter/Grangegorman towards the sunrise. There’s an old stone wall to the right, with plants growing over the top, to the left a Victorian brick terrace and some cars, and at the end of the street more old buildings, which have been thoroughly renovated. There’s a man in black walking along the narrow pavement on the right, and in general a lot of chimneys.
