I went skating over the holiday, fell, and had an enormous bruise on my hip for almost two weeks afterwards. I kept thinking, this was so easy when I was younger…and then would remember I probably hadn’t skated in upwards of 25yrs.

Yeah, I’ve been doing that progression too. But I find the challenge isn’t so much the cardio buildup, more that my muscles don’t recover the way they did in my 20s. I now have to do the strength exercises that I used to ignore.

I have a feeling these are also the people who talk about how we should have a meritocracy.

Maybe the strategy is to rename every lake Lake Louise.

But wtf do I know about a housing crisis and policy and who should bear responsibility?

What I do know is this crisis is 30+ years in the making and it’ll take at least that long to resolve it.

I haven’t gone hiking in well over 4 years, but yes…we drive to hikes.
